今まで住んでいた instance https://mathstodon.xyz/@sakaefuchino で日本語の toots を書くのが多分僕だけだったので，ちょっと申し訳なくなって，日本語の toots の一部はこちらに移すことにしてみた．更なる人格分裂が起こってしまっている．
でも最近はまた，もときた https://mathstodon.xyz/@sakaefuchino
に戻りがちである．これは，向こうでは \(\LaTeX\) が使えることと，toots の再編集ができることが 大きな理由である．また，あちらでは，translate というボタンが toots につくようになったので，このボタンを押した時に起動する翻訳エンジンの deepL でそれほど言っていることと食い違わない翻訳がされるような日本語の文章を調節すれば，日本語が母語でない audience にも対応できる，という事情もある．

また間違えて Fedibird で書いてしまった．posts の typos の訂正ができないのでここでは書かないことにしようと思っていたのに．
これが正しいと言っているわけではないんだが，こうでも説明しないと理解できない，というものにはなっているように思える
こういうのを見ていると，“presumption of innocense” という概念に，「疑はしくは罰せず」という文語の固定訳語がついていること自体が奇跡のように思えてくる．と書いてみたのだが，これはむしろ，こう誤訳したために，罰しはしないが犯人扱いはしてよい，と勘違いしてしまったという lost in translation 現象だったのかもしれない．

A year ago: four students of my Logic class (the Λμtómatas group) decided to stage a musical with the four (recognizable) characters Turing, Hilbert, Ackermann and of course Gödel. Here are some stage photographs.
That was the very first in-person event we had in my classes, after almost two years of confinement. I felt it was luxury to restart seeing my students in person during a logical musical performed (and scripted) by them!
The musical was called Ignorabimus.

In my college physics class, which was at 8am (!), all eight of us were crying over the impossibly hard math (and hangovers), and the teaching assistant, a young guy from India, let go of the syllabus to describe, with great sympathy and passion, the origins of the complex number, starting with it's genealogy in the long line of advances in number theory from the conceptualization of zero, how they got built into the physics we were studying, and, crucially, how the great minds of mathematics at each juncture struggled with whether and how to include those new ways of numeration into their understanding. That class was 45 years ago, and it is burned into my memory. #math
同じ内容を書いた toot のリンク先の #mathstodon での toot の修正が，こちらの instance から見ると反映されないので，別のリンク先に書き直しておこうと思う．新しい mastodon では多分 toots は，オリジナルの toot に修正の差分の chain がつながった構造になっていて，これを古い mastodon のエンジンで見た時には，この chain の root になっているオリジナルの toot だけが見える，というのが，起こっていることなのだと思うのだが．

日本の新聞は，江戸時代の瓦版を彷彿とさせて本当に滑稽で面白い．事件現場でインタヴューを受けた人は声を震わせなくてはいけないし，葬儀はしめやかに行われなくてはならない．おいしいものをいただく人は舌鼓を打たなくてはならないし，自白した容疑者は記事の中で犯人扱いされて，「間違いありません」と言わなくてはならない．

#Lützerath erinnert mich an #Narita. Wärend es allerdings in Narita lediglich mit der Problematik (des Missbrauchs) der Staatsgewalt zu tun hatte, ist Lützerath mit der Frage verbunden, wie dumm es bei dem jetzt nur noch unvermeidlichen Untergang der Menschheit aussehen wird.

私はかつて保育士だったので、弱者に合わせれば誰も困らないっていうのは正しいことを知っています。
「手を洗いましょう」
というだけでは伝わらない子どもがいる場合、
「水道の前にたちます」
「蛇口をひねります」
「手をぬらします」
「蛇口を逆にひねります」
「石鹸をつけます」
「手のひら同士をこすり合わせます」
「左右の手の甲をこすります」
「左右の手首をこすります」
「蛇口をひねります」
「ぬるぬるがなくなるまで水で流します」
「蛇口を逆にひねります」
「タオルで手の水がなくなるまで拭きます」
という風にとても細かく分解して知らせます。このプロセスを知らせることは「手を洗いましょう」だけで理解できる人にも特に何の不都合もないし、むしろ改めて行動を振り返り理解を深めるきっかけにもなりうるのでとてもよいことだと思います。
ユニバーサルデザイン。
生活の仕方も社会もこんな風に優しい世界になっていけばいいな、と常々思います。
夫婦別姓にしろ同性婚にしろ何にせよ実装しても誰も困らない。誰も困らない社会っていいですよね。
Klatschjournalismus 的猟奇事件ということでは一昨年は，Brian と Gabby で，昨年は Bryan だし，去年と今年の元旦からの感染者数増加のダイナミックスの相似もそうだし，なんかデジャヴを見ているとしか思えない．しかも，両方とも破壊力は今度の方が格段に増加している．

と始まる答えを書いてみました．こういう初心者の質問に答える (ふりをして啓蒙活動のようなことをしてしまう) のは時間の無駄だと批判されてしまうかもしれませんが，年をとると，だんだん当たり前のことを説明する能力が失せてしまう傾向があるような気がするので，これは，自分にとっては，そうならないためのトレーニングのようなものでもあります．
arXiv に日本語 LaTeX で作った論文を (調節して) post する話なので，僕の日本語の instance にも link しておくことにします．
