This is hilarious. Twitter appears to be DDOSing itself.

Something's wrong with Twitter so feeds aren't loading. Nothing loads, but my Twitter feed is still trying to load, but it doesn't stop trying after so many attempts.

Notice the error message that I'm being rate limited. I haven't done anything more than attempt to view my home feed. Now notice the bouncing scrollbar.

I'm gonna guess there was an bug introduced that was resulting in an endless loop of trying to fetch results, but with no results available, Twitter would have basically been DDOSing itself.

I've been using the site for like fifteen years partly because it's a huge database of real English that is extremely useful for English learners. For instance, you saw the word "implode" in a news item and in a second you can search Twitter to find more examples, often in different contexts. With Google search being too broad and too commerialised, Twitter was a good source of word usage. #RIPTwitter

連邦最高裁のアファーマティブアクション（積極的差別是正措置）に関する判決もとても不穏な傾向です。

“積極的差別是正措置は、人種差別によって入学を阻まれてきた黒人への機会提供や社会的地位の向上を促すため、1960年代に導入された。最高裁は78年、特定の人種に一定の入学枠を設ける「クオータ制」は違憲だと判断したが、「学生の多様性の確保」を目的に選考材料の一つとして人種を考慮することは容認。03年にも同様の判断を示していたが、当時の判決は「これから25年後には（人種格差解消によって）人種による選抜は不要になっていることを期待する」と述べていた”

こういう背景を踏まえて、最高裁がアファーマティブアクションは違憲に当たるとの見解を出すのは、まだまだマイノリティにとって格差が明らかに存在する中で「逆差別」を盾に保守がマイノリティへの優遇措置を妨害する動きに拍車をかけることに繋がるのでとても憂慮しています。

それにしても最高裁判事に任期中に3人もの保守を任命した前大統領の功罪は大きいです。
