Bald Eagles at an undisclosed location on Cape Cod today. I got there as Mom was headed off to hunt and Dad was returning to the nest to sit with the fledgelings, who still don't have all their flight feathers.

Only real excitement for the day was captured here, when an Opsrey got a little too close to the nest for Dad's comfort and got screamed at for its troubles.

A Bataleur eagle at the Adlerwarte Berlebeck (a center for birds of prey / falconry) in Detmold, Germany.

His name is Frosch (Frog) and I really like how they look! So fluffy!

He was hiding from the sun in a dark corner so I had to crank up the ISO to 10000. Still worked out pretty well, I think.
