#fedibird #qoto Qutoという海外のMastodonサーバがFedibirdの各種機能をマージしました。違いはLTLを無効にしていないぐらいかな。

の4つのサーバがFedibirdの血族になった感じですね。期せずして、それぞれ専用のハッシュタグまであったりして。

#ハッシュタグリレー は、ハッシュタグのついた投稿を、フォロワーのいないサーバーや関心のあるユーザーに届けるActivityPubのサービスです。

サーバ単位で参加したり、ユーザー個人で参加することができます。

リレーには、 @relayctl という、コマンド受け付け専用のbotアカウントがあります。

このエージェントを通じて、ユーザーレベルでリレーに参加したり、リレーされないように制限したり、その他さまざまな設定を変更したり、その状態を確認することができます。

ちょっと使い方の説明が追いついていないですが、もう少し実装が進んだらまとめてご紹介します。

#ハッシュタグリレー に、ユーザーレベルで設定できるコマンドを追加しました。

@relayctl に対し、下記のコマンドが使えます。

【リレーによる送信を有効化】
send :enable

【リレーによる送信を無効化】
send :disable

【送信を拒否するドメインを追加】
send :deny:domains example.com

【送信を拒否するドメインをクリア】
send :deny:domains

【設定状態を確認】
status

【表示言語を変更】
set :lang:ja
set :lang:en

なお、set系のコマンドは、他のコマンドのオプション設定のデフォルト値を変更するもので、set以外でも組み合わせて使えます。

status :lang:en

など。

これらはすべて個人設定です。

サーバ管理者による設定で、サーバ全体がハッシュタグリレーに参加している場合でも、自分の投稿をリレーさせないようにしたり、特定のサーバへリレーされないように指示することができます。

Mastodonのリプライ、良く出来ていて、リプライでやり取りしている当事者の双方を観測範囲に入れている人はタイムライン上に見えるけど、観測範囲の外の人と話している会話はタイムライン上でみえないようになっています。

起点となっている投稿の詳細を開くと、今度は逆にツリーが追えるようになっていて、コンテキストを上手に分離しているんですよね。

ただし、日本では特にエアリプが愛用されていて、リプライで会話する機会が少なめで、機能が活かされていないように感じます。

とりあえず表示。レイアウト調整もまだしてない

#fedibird announcementsの×ボタンを押すと、そのannouncementはミュートされて表示されなくなるんですが、復活する方法はいまのところありません。

ので、ちょっと実験でAPIを生やしてみました。

curlで叩いてみて下さい。アクセストークンが必要です。アクセストークンは、ユーザー設定の『開発』で取得してしまうのが簡単です。

さっき、Fedibirdの機能をマージしたQOTOの方々と英語で話をしていたんだけど、

・やっぱり英語で500文字は短い
・メンションで会話
・アツい

という感想を得た。

いつも日本語で500文字長文投稿しているので、日本語なら感覚的にどのぐらい書けるかわかっているんだけど、それを英語にして投稿すると2〜3分割しないと入りきらない。日本語の圧縮率凄い。

メンションで会話するのはもの凄く快適（それはそう）。そして話に集中できる。

タイムラインでの会話は、ホームタイムラインであっても、いつもの仲間達との会話、という枠で行っている。

特にメイン言語の違う人達との会話は、中途半端に省略することがなく、様々なことを明示的に示すし、もとよりわかるように話すことを心がけることになるので、何事もはっきりしていて小気味よい。

また、わざわざ声を掛けて話をしようというわけで、彼らはとても関心が強く、熱心だ。

ちなみにこの長い日本語のメッセージ、英語に訳すと1,079文字相当になる。日本語の圧縮率凄い（大事なことなので二回言った）。

@mike This was a reference to mastodon and mastodon derivatives. There are other servers with local groups but they arent compatible with the bulk of the fediverse. Thus the need for a universal solution everyone can use.

Domain Subscriptions - Bring another instance's local timeline as a feed in QOTO, no need to have an account on another server again, just import their timeline here!

Keyword Subscriptions - Create custom timelines based off keywords not just hashtags, you can even use regex for advanced matching

Account Subscriptions - This allows you to follow a remote accounts public toots in your Home timeline without actually following them, great for following users with locked accounts.

Support for WebP and HEIC media uploads
