@dmonad It is possible to send and receive circles between different servers, as long as the implementation supports the same method: Fedibird and the server https://circle-dev.fedibird.com , which is a test server, can do it. (You can register it in circle-dev and experiment with it.

In the early implementations, it was a compatible method.
The current implementation requires that instead of delivering the post content, you send baercaps and the server receiving them should fetch the post content by fetching it with bearcaps.
@noellabo I mean if someone in the Circle is not on Fedibird, then he/she won't receive the status.
