Anger is terribly misunderstood. The anger of the oppressor is the anger of power-lust and domination. It is an anger of destruction.
The anger of the oppressed serves a very important purpose—change. It is the anger of life. Of self-preservation.

西武労組のストライキについての報道で、昨日 7時のNHKニュースは＜旗艦店の西武池袋本店がある池袋駅前で客などに話を聞きました＞と街頭インタビューを挿んていた。
①男子大学生「ふだんからよく来ているので、もし休業となったらさみしいです。穏便に終わってくれたらと期待しています」
②女子大学生「池袋はおもちゃなどが充実しているので、もし休業したら困ります」
③60代の会社員の女性は「経営側と組合側のそれぞれに考えていることはあると思いますが、客が置いてきぼりだなという気持ちです」
しかし私には、顧客優先、ストは迷惑、という先入観を、視聴者に植えつけているように思えた。
「穏便に・困る・・客が置いてきぼり」とストライキに至った背景をよく知らないであろう街の声を三人拾って、並べてみせる報道は恣意的としかいいようがない。かりに百貨店がストライキを決行したとして、誰がどう迷惑するというのだ。
ストライキは労働者の権利である。ネガティヴな見方を一般化しないでもらいたい。

Fellow Black people - I know that in light of the #jacksonville killing, some people booed the white suprem-, er, Intellectually Diverse™ governor DeSantis of Florida, given his vocal and political support of white nationalism. However, as a Black community, we have to remember that protesting violent white supremacy sometimes makes white people feel sad! And angry! And isn't that really a kind of racism in itself, if you think about it?
Anyway, I'm happy to draw your attention to this helpful book, collecting all the wisdom of white Controversial Thinkers® like DeSantis and all those other bitch-faces about the best way to protest against racism. Compromise!

オリンピックもマイナンバー保険証も汚染水放出も、結局どれだけ反対の声があっても、すべて為政者の決めたことは決めたままに遂行される、という無力感を人びとに抱かせるために、わざとこんな進め方をしているかのようにも思えて。。
従順に諦めて、だからお上には逆らわないのが得だ、みたいなニヒリズムに陥ると、わかったふうな冷笑的「勝者」のポジションに立ちたがるようなダサい羽目にもなる。
私は最後は政治的体制如何に依らず幸せになってやろうと、意地汚く黒い旗まで立てているけれど、選挙であれ署名であれ政府交渉であれ、無力で受け身であることを拒否して主権者たらんとする諸々の手段は自分にとっても大事だし、そのために奔走するアクティビストや議員や学者を尊敬する。
たとえばデモに行くと、自分たちは無力でも孤独でもないよ、って、たぶんそれはそれで幻想なんだけど、そういう元気が出るから、いいと思うよ。行ってみて初めて、そんなふうに考えるようになったから。。

On y apprend que #Google a prélevé en 2022 environ 7,6 milliards de gallons d' #eau douce (~ 28,7 milliards de litres) dans le monde, un chiffre qui a presque doublé entre 2018 et 2022.
Complément : 20 des 23 data centers listés p. 95 du rapport (qui représentent 90% du volume mondial prélevé) prélèvent exclusivement de l'eau potable.
