すべての問題から目をそらさないのは精神的にも物理的にも無理で、なにかに目をつぶらないと生きていけない。
もちろん、広く問題意識を訴えることは大事だけど、どれくらい目をそらさないか、目をつぶるのかは個人の問題意識やキャパシティにもよるから、誰彼構わず「目をそらすな！」「目をつぶるな！」と直接けしかけるのは筋が良くないと思う。

マストドン（Mastodon）命名の由来

Eugen Rochko氏はアメリカのプログレッシブバンドMastodonのファンであり、そこから中新世から更新世にかけて全世界に生息していたゾウやマンモスと似た大型哺乳類Mastodonに興味を持ち、新しいSNSのサービス名としてマストドンを選んだ。
