Shelduck ducklings on the run! 😍

Taken a few years ago when I rescued these tiny chicks from the main road in Burnham on Sea in Somerset... 2 times I had to stand in the road to stop the traffic as the ducklings kept running back into harms way! 😲
I called Secret World and they sent 2 of their volunteers to safely catch the ducklings before a car got to them first! 👏❤️😊🦆🐥

Brown-Hatted Chirper

I have lots of excellent photos of chipping sparrows () that I will try to post every couple days or so. This one I found misfiled with in my chickadee file.

You know, the photographs that I post here are not quite a vivid as the same photographs that I post at my pixel's gallery, because here, I reduce the size of the photos and usually make a slight reduction in the quality of the photos to make them easier to load.

They were so fast, fluffy, fidgety, & furtive that I never managed to get all of them in focus at once. Still, I'm #BackOnMyBushtit because they're back on theirs.

Spotted a Tawny Frogmouth on a rock next to the driveway this evening when I got home. It's not particularly sharp, as I was hand-holding a 600mm lens and shooting at 1/60th sec.

Also, later in the evening popped down the driveway to see if there were any signs of Aurora. I didn't expect any, but it's going off down south.

Alas, the glow of Brisbane (as seen bottom left of the frame) will drown out any faint glimmers we might see from the current coronial mass ejection storm.
