Facebookは直接の友人知人向けに細々と続けているが、仲が良いと思ったら全部にいいねをつけ、そうでなければ全部につけないという方がいらっしゃる。これは村社会のコミュニケーションで、結局内容を読んでいない。
@tomouchi00011 I feel the contrary… Inbound-wise, I don’t get happy birthday's from many people, which I don’t like; outbound-wise, before I got banned off Facebook, I actually had everyone's bdays exported to .ics (with a browser extension), and for those I could contact, I do wish them happy birthday (though “everyone" includes people I’ve met from “only once" to “regularly”). It’s rare to directly ask for bdays here unless it’s a very close friend, but my social circumstances are different…
@austin それは面白いですね。おそらく、日本以外の国では、皆さんはもっと気軽に誕生日を祝い、それを受け入れるのでしょう。私の誕生日に友人や家族からプレゼントを受け取ったり、彼らにパーティーを開いてもらうのは嬉しいものです。そして、彼らがFacebookなしでも私の誕生日を覚えていてくれることが嬉しいのです。
@tomouchi00011 Nah, culture-wise it's similar (and I do occasionally give gifts), just that my personal circumstances are a bit different (I don't do/attend parties, and I wouldn't say I have many "close friends"). But it's true (and sad) that more and more relationships can only be sustained online.
@austin 公私いずれにしても、オンラインのみで人間関係を維持するのは難しいですね。私はフリーランサーで、自宅で仕事をしているので、年に数回は彼らに直接会うように心がけています。
実際のところ、私の友人や家族も毎年私の誕生日を祝ってくれるとは限りません。:)
Facebookの誕生日は非表示にしてから大変快適になった。アプリにリマインドされないと人の誕生日を覚えていない方に祝われても嬉しくない。
