New article up!

Let's look at Tecmo's 1986 golf game Tee'd Off! There was a longstanding rumor that there's hidden nudity in the game. Is it true? Well, the article is marked as NSFW so...

Anyway, enough about the sad state of Sega game centers, today I'll look at the sad state of Tecmo game centers! This is the only TECMOPIA in the Kinki region. Let's check it out.

(I say sad state, but it's actually super busy. I have made the fatal mistake of coming here on a weekend.)

Here's another scan for you: a Sega Mega Drive introduction booklet featuring Japanese rapper/writer/actor/TV personality Itō Seikō.

Itō was the image character for the MD hardware, also appearing in TV CMs. Part of the "gimmick" was that he was multi-talented, and thus well-represented the multi-purpose functions of the MD (modem, keyboard, printer, etc).

Hey, have you ever heard of the Sega AI Computer? Yeah, most people haven't.

Anyway, here's a scan of an expensive pamphlet detailing the scarce hardware.

The development of Touki Denshou - Angel Eyes was *rough,* but I imagine there were dozens of other stories from dozens of other companies from that time.

(From the Touki Denshou dev diary, which I've almost finished translated.)

What's that on the horizon...? Is it... the CPS2 article??

Yes! Let's take a look the mysterious debugging DIP switches only present on development hardware but are still utilized by a number of games.
