well, somehow twitter has gotten even *worse* and with tweetdeck, the only interface with an ounce of usability, going behind a paywall, I guess I'll be back to mastodon again!
@mollipen im heeeeeeere. Part of the problem was last time I never installed the mastodon app, so I always just found myself reopening twitter. App is now installed on my phone so I hope to be more serious about it now.
@suddendesu Which one did you go with? Not sure if you're on iOS or Android, but on iOS, I'm a big fan of Ice Cubes. Has a lot of nice features, while also not requiring any cost/subscription.
@mollipen oh wow didn't even realize there were multiple apps, I just grabbed uh.. I guess the main/official one? iOS as well, I'll check out Ice Cubes too
@suddendesu That's one of the great / confusing things about Mastodon. If you don't like the official app, you've got numerous other choices to pick from! But, it can be a bit of choice overload.
If nothing else, you can use the official app for now, and if you find yourself wanting more, you can try others. I am a fan of Ice Cubes though, and it's both iOS and MacOS.
