I'm as sad to see the Sega signage disappear as anyone. Truly the end of an era. But it's also desperately needed. The remaining Sega locations are dusty, sun-bleached and feel very worn down. Here's some shots from a recent visit to Sega World Izumi.

It feels like it hasn't seen a refresh since Sonic Adventure was initially released.

GiGO design may be terminally boring sans serif font on flat color plane, but at least they're injecting some money into the locations. A little bit anyway.
