In my opinion, the current Mastodon is carefully designed for humans and promises a comfortable life. It's the best living quarters.

However, there is still a lack of a system for state and administration, and a system for commercial activities. Administrative district, commercial district.

But if you bring Twitter as it is, it won't work. We should design better systems that fit decentralized networks.

Come on, who makes this happen?

@fasnix As I indicated in another post, I believe Mastodon is designed as a residential community. In other words, it is choosing privacy and trouble prevention over convenience. fedibird.com/@noellabo/1092581

On the other hand, the ActivityPub network, the Fediverse, is freely connected to implementations that think differently than Mastodon. Misskey, for example, supports full-text search. [参照]

@fasnix And my Mastodon fork, Fedibird, takes an opt-in approach to full-text search. There are mechanisms in place to make full-text search available to anyone if the contributor allows it.

These are guaranteed to be freely selectable, allowing Mastodon to follow the Mastodon Philosophy.
