@noellabo 最近じゃないけど、とりあえずやってみるでjpとpawooとsocialにアカウント作って（社畜丼にも作ったな）、Twitterの運営がアレなんでインスタンス建てた。鯖屋は法令違反とマシン負荷くらいでしか言ってこなさそう。
@noellabo@fedibird.com my case was for social media detoxification. I actually registered at shitposter.club in 2016 but i never bothered to be active and doesnt know decentralized platform so well. Thus in the late-2020 i tried mastodon.social and getting to know new people. Then in several month i saw someone is not in mastodon software but still can communicate with and has emoji reaction. I'm sold with such a feature. Thus i managed to register an account at misskey.io. Enjoying the environment there a lot,m. After one year in the fediverse, i decided to make my own misskey instance at misskey.id to provide a place for Indonesian who might interested to try join fediverse using Misskey as a platform.

確かJoinMastodonのサーバーリストを見て、
・え！jpだけじゃなくてサーバーいっぱいあるのか！？選べるのかﾔｯﾀ-!
・ユーザー数は多すぎず少なすぎず
・ジャンルを固定しないで思いつくままポストしたいのでノンジャンルなサーバーを希望
・管理人さんのポスト内容・最終投稿日
（つまりサーバーが現在も活動しているか）
・ドメイン名が覚えやすいか、入力しやすいか
といったことから、toot.blueに決めていたと思います。
（が、今見たら、toot.blue見当たらないんですよね…！当時そこを見ていたはずなんですが…！）
@noellabo I was finding the alternative community of Twitter. Twitter isn't enemy for me and I still using Twitter to interact with many friends. I just found Itabashi.0j0.jp when I was looking up.on the web. And I knew the decentralized network. Then I was get to be interested in Fediverse.
I needed to run my instance to manage customized features on Mastodon for running atsuchan.page .

Misskeyに来た理由？
賑やかなサーバーがちょっと恋しくなってふぇてぃばと悩んで選んだ。理由は藍ちゃんが可愛いから

then recently went looking around for ActivityPub stuff and saw Misskey mentioned on fediverse.party , saw this page https://join.misskey.page/en-US/instances and joined the one that said it was for devs
