best-friends.chat was out of service on October 1 from 4:10-5:00, 5:30-7:00, and 8:10-8:30 due to an outage.
It's a difficult one to deal with, as the saving strategy of combining and configuring spot instances didn't work, and the only way to deal with it is to pile on the money.

mastodon.social was down for maintenance on October 1 between 10:00 and 16:00 or so for a major database upgrade, apparently moving from PostgreSQL 9.6 to 12.
