I'm sitting in a cafe in the morning, and an old man sitting near me is talking to himself all the time.

His voice is almost a growl, and although he looks Japanese, it no longer sounds Japanese. It sounds like he is chanting a sutra or a chant.

Maybe he is hearing the word of God in his brain.
