The recipe was calling for a spoonful, after all, and surely a bigger spoon would make the end result more potent.
She needed the end result as strong as it could get, for reasons she would only mumble about.
Two spoonfuls would be cheating, so she just needed one big spoon...

I have an instance called autistics.life. It's a mastodon server for autistic and neurodivergent people.
We have a wholesome autistic/neurodivergent vibe, and we just upgraded to a 10,000 character limit.
My business pays for the hosting and it's a stable income. I'll never ask you for money to keep the server online, so it's free for you to use.
Domain registration was recently renewed for an additional 3 years. December will be 2 years this instance has been online. The host has also been in business since 2013 (11 years). It's a stable server and not going anywhere.

Wynn opened the back door to head out to the chicken coop but stopped short. There, sleeping huddled under the overhang was a demon clad only in the remains of a canvas sack.
He would have thought her human, but her horns gave her away, rising dark through pale hair.
Wynn knew he'd have to turn her in, but she hadn't even taken the blanket from porch rail-
He sighed and draped it over her, causing her to stir.
"I can only do so much," he said. He scratched at the stump from one of his own cut horns. "For now, I hope you like omelettes."
Bethkari looked from the faded inventory pages in her hand to the carved stone figure nestled in a little wood box.
"Unknown idol figure, blue stone with gold flecks," she said aloud before reaching to touch it.
"Unknown," she repeated with a laugh before running her hand down the figure's front and uttering a few words in a tongue far older than box or inventory.
Beneath her hand, the figure stirred and changed, becoming far more than gold-flecked stone.
Bethkari smiled. It had all been worth it.
"They just didn't know how to wake you up."

Regarding #Brazil banning #X :
After the disaster of the Weimar Republic, the Federal Republic of #Germany came up with the concept of the "Wehrhafte Demokratie" - a "democracy that can defend itself". Fundamental to this concept is that people, groups, and organizations who want to overthrow the basic democratic order should _not_ get a "level playing field".
So while I can understand people worried about any kind of #censorship , I think by this standard this action is justifiable. Brazil went through an attempted coup, and X - and Elon #Musk - were instrumental in aiding the coupists.
And by now Elon Musk has established a clear pattern of "wanting to overthrow the democratic order" - _any_ democratic order. Thus, it is valid if Brazil wants to restrict his speech.
I see this as part of the "Paradox of Tolerance" - tolerating the intolerant will result in less tolerance. And tolerance, like freedom of speech, are social contracts. If you break the social contract - as Elon Musk has - then there should be consequences.

"One for Professor Jenkins," her supervisor replied.
Malke frowned. Even though she was in her first year, the job had been teaching her the campus quickly, but-
"He's a ruminant fellow," her supervisor said as Malke took the package.
Malke nodded, noting the address and heading off.
When she did find Professor Jenkins's office, she was surprised by the size of the door.
It was perfect; she didn't need to fold her wings and he didn't bump his antlers.

Just had a platform survey me about the #AI features I'd like to see them add. My response was loud and clear:
I need to be able to disable AI features completely. My MSAs have rules governing the use of AI. If your platform can't disable it, many companies are not going to be able to use your software and stay legally compliant.
Feature #1 should be the off switch.
