If we’re being honest here, this was the WORST my holiday sales have ever been. First of all I got Covid at the beginning of the month and it stayed, and so I could NOT make and post all the new #pottery items I usually make in December. Then muskrat destroyed my main source of sharing the work I had made. It’s been hard. And building a new community’s here is hard. Please be gentle with us new #creators here. Some of us are broken and trying our best to rebuild. #ArtMatters #artist #community

Well, that stings. #TerryHall, such an icon. Wrote and performed tracks that even those who don't care about music, know and even enjoy. Helped put not just Coventry but 2-tone on the map. His lyrics always hit home, and very on point.
I enjoyed his music, be it his solo stuff, The Specials (The Coventry Automatics), Fun Boy Three, Colourfield, Dub Pistols, Vegas, etc... I will continue to enjoy his music. It is part of me, embedded in my DNA. Thanks, Terry Hall. RIP

In honor (?) of Japan’s tradition of hitting up Kentucky Fried Chicken for Christmas, KFC in Spain is selling an “Otaku Burger”. It consists of two chicken patties and a teriyaki “otaku sauce”. The ad contains the words “celebration” and “good flavor” in Japanese.
On Twitter, users marveled at the hodgepodge. One said: “Otaku? Did they mean ‘kotatsu’?”
