"Long Time no See, no sniffing."

After seeing the cats (Milky and Starry) running around having such a good time I was wondering if they would include the dog Maron. So I let Maron in for a little. Milky ran over and and touched nose but Starry disappeared, not ready to trust another species yet I guess... Milky is nice, after gnawing on that deer bone for a day or so Maron's breath smells awful.

Things seem pretty cool here on this "fediverse". What does that mean though, the "fediverse"? I hear it's using ActivityPub. Could anyone explain to me what that means? Thanks!

No photos in my camera from last nights "PC Saving" slot at the Free Night School. The time is dedicated to Free Software and two Moms and a kid played with TuxPaint and G-Compris. The color matching activity in G-Compris seems to fascinate. And the TuxPaint stamps with frog and bird pictures looks fun. The new Mom (a recent Mom brought her friend) seemed interested in putting the Free OS and activities on an old computer....

The little net fence is working so far.. I probably should have put this up month a go to keep the birds out of the neighbors' field and yard, and out of the road where they were keeping drivers from quickly crossing railroad tracks.. But without a decent idea of how to go about it there was no motivations. A chance discovery of this long (50m!!) net and some poles made experimenting more interesting. Eventually I'll get the time and energy to chop down some bamboo for reinforcement and replacement of the store-bought poles..
