Reminds me of the time I was chided at a BHU Indian classical concert for leaning back on my elbows instead of sitting up straight and showing proper respect. I'd brought some kit to record, but it was a real uptight scene. I think they thought I was just a backpacker looking for a place to take nap.
Conversely I was invited to share a blanket on the lawn during a Steely Dan show, when I noticed I was not just the only one standing, but also the only one not lying down.
