Scroll to Text Fragment (i.e. #:~:text=…) has had poor accessibility and we’ve been slow to implement it, wanting a better solution. As of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1914877, Firefox now supports this feature, highlighting the range to assistive technologies to support better accessibility.
