Does anyone know of an actual place called something like Cocomo, Cocamo or Kokomo? I'm trying to tie down the lyrics from a Cliff Edwards song from 1936 which lists some of the places he has romantic partners, and there's the line "I've got a sweetie in Kokomo and one does a hulu dance". Can't find any mention of the fictional Kokomo island from the Beach Boys' song prior to 1988, so I'm a bit stumped. Needless to say, I also can't find official lyrics to this "party record" from Cliff.
@BigJackBrass well when I search “Hawaii Kokomo” on Google maps, something comes out… is that a clue ?
