この発表会は、現代の武道の元祖武術を見る良いきっかけでした。古武術がいかに形式化され、スポーツに近づけるように「平和化」されたかがよくわかりました。たとえ古武道家が少なくても、こうした武術の保存は、既存の武道の幅を広げ、武道を進化させる参考となるため、重要なことだと思います。
This presentation was a good opportunity to see the origins of the modern martial arts. I could see how some old martial arts were formalized and "pacified" to be closer to sports. Even if there are only a few practitioners, the preservation of these martial arts is important because it broadens the scope of existing martial arts and serves as a reference for their future evolution.
