東京都美術館で岡本太郎の展覧会に行きました!初めて本人の絵の作品を観ました。本人のパリ生活や戦争の体験も知らなかったが、特に印象に残っているのは沖縄と東北の旅行の白黒写真です。「沖縄文化論」を買って戦争後、自分の文化にどんな感覚を持ってるか知りたいです。
We went to the Taro Okamoto exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum! This was the first time I saw his paintings. I didn't know about his life in Paris or his experience of WWII, but the black-and-white photos of his trips to Okinawa and Tohoku really impressed me. I bought Taro Okamoto's 'Essay on Okinawa Culture', I would like to understand what sense he had of his own culture after the War.
