An Israeli documentary, The Settlers (2017), is about #westbank. It weaves together historical footages and recent interviews of illegal settlers. It feels like the visual representation of the excellent NYT article, The Unpunished. Fanatical religious terrorists have taken hold of political power in Israel. The political left in Isreal was too naive. It's a bit like what's going on in the US right now. @palestine

英語ができる方にオススメします。2017年制作のイスラエル人監督によるドキュメンタリー。ユダヤ系イスラエル人によるパレスチナ自治区での暴力的な違法入植について。まさに狂信的なカルト集団で、かつてのイスラエル政府にテロリストとして認定されている人たちも。パレスチナ自治区の政治家の暗殺、イスラエルのラビン首相の暗殺にも関わってきた人たちへのインタビューもあります。このグループから、今2人ほどがイスラエル政府で要の大臣職。治安、財務と違法入植者にかかる権力を掌握。そういう政府だから、ジェノサイドも全く正当化。で、それを支援する欧米諸国。
