先日、ワシントンDCのシンクタンクにいる米国人の友人と話した。東アジアでの有事を想定したがる人が増えているそう。で、「日本政府が、台湾有事の可能性が高いと思ってる」って言いふらしたいグループがいるらしい。
どういうことかというと、米国の国防政策関連のコミュニティに、中国の脅威を煽りたい人達がいて、日本政府に「中国が台湾を攻撃するリスクは高い」と言わせることで、中国の脅威をさらに煽り、アジアでの米国の覇権引き締めと武器輸出増強したい、ということでしょう。友人は中国との関係悪化は避けるべき、という立場ですが、DCでは少数派だって嘆いていました。
米国のシンクタンクには、日本から随分とお金を貰っている人達（Japanハンドラー）がいて、彼らは、日本からお金を巻き上げてえいても日本のためではなく、日本政府に米国製のシナリオを押し付ける係。
つまり、Time誌の岸田首相の記事も、米国政府的には大歓迎な訳です。世界一の高齢化の国の日本では、軍隊維持も難しいし、徴兵も無理。徴兵したら、働き手がいなくなり、経済は壊滅的な打撃を受ける。中国と対立することにはメリットはゼロ。でも、それでも米国のシナリオ通りに動くのは、原発村の構造と類似する構造があるから。つづく
@Jerry it’s ok. President Clinton was the first President to ignore Japan and favor China. When Japan tried to create an Asian version of IMF after the Asian Finnacial Crisis in 1997, the US blocked it. If the US hadn’t done that, it would have been much more difficult for China to implement a policy like Belt and Road initiative. The US is a hegemon that routinely makes very bad decisions, which undermine liberal democracy in the long run. As far as Japan is concerned, the US has been on the side of very undemocratic forces within Japan.
@JapanProf China does not act because they are inflamed. They solely act because they see a weakness that they can pass through. They are aggressive. They will take from anyone because of opportunity.
I question your argument that Japan is risking aggression from China because people are making them angry and if Japan only says nice things to China that they will leave Japan alone. You say that Japan doesn't need to do anything to protect itself because China is basically a loving country.
