No.823 is really nice pen. Hope you enjoy the pen.The plunger type pen need to release tail plug for writing(notice) . Many customers complain to the company “can’t write!” without the notice.
You can use other company’s ink. If you use the pen not so frequently, may be good idea to avoid pigment type ink and iron gall ink.
