i'm very much not feeling in control of my destiny at the moment, because it seems i'd have to take some crazy risks to readjust my course, since slow and steady progress toward things isn't really my strength.

but i know a person who was stuck in a similar way. he took crazy risks, and it didn't change anything for him. he came back to Norway for safety, having found no opportunities down in Europe.

people like us really need some good luck to get anywhere, i think. a breakthrough.
