念のためXPERIA 10 IIIでも試してみたら同様な結果になった(なお、XPERIA 10 IIIは直接イヤホンを挿せる)。
USB Type-C ミニジャック変換アダプタの中にはiPhoneやXPERIAが認識できないものもあるので注意しましょう。

iPhone 15 Pro MaxがLightningからUSB Type-Cに変わったので、USB Type-C ミニジャック変換アダプタをiPhone 15 Pro Maxに挿してイヤホンで音楽聴こうとしたら、イヤホンからじゃなくiPhone本体から音が流れ始めた。
そこで、ハイレゾ音源対応として売られてる以前買ったUSB Type-C ミニジャック変換アダプタをiPhone 15 Pro Maxに挿してイヤホンで音楽聴こうとしたらアダプタを認識した。
So, when I tried to listen to music with earphones by inserting a previously purchased USB Type-C mini-jack conversion adapter that was sold as compatible with high-resolution sound sources into the iPhone 15 Pro Max, it recognized the adapter.
Just to be sure, I tried it on XPERIA 10 III and got the same result (note that you can directly plug in earphones to XPERIA 10 III).
Please note that some USB Type-C mini jack conversion adapters may not be able to be recognized by iPhone or XPERIA.
