溜め込んだログからアカウント横断検索をしたり、前後の投稿が見やすかったりします。また非公開にしたり、公開するけど検索させない、なんてこともできます。初期設定が非公開なので、公開・検索許可したら同じ話題の人を見つけやすくなるかも。

なんか対比表を作ろうかと思ったけど、ソフトバンクの通信サービスって名前ないんだっけ。クロッシィは不評だったけど、こういう時便利。

New Things I Want on Mastodon Social Network

1) Number of likes to be displayed.

2) Number of reshare to be displayed.

(not only number of comments)

3) Follow button *on other instance* turns Unfollow if I already followed it.

4) Handy notes on right panel so I can write unpublished notes (without other site's help), bookmark and organize my likes/reshares.

残念ながらTwitterとは繋がっておらず、Twitterからマストドンのユーザーをフォローしたり、マストドンからTwitterのユーザーをフォローできず、お互いの姿が見えません。

まぁ、Twitterのことはなんとなく人づてに伝わってくるのですが、マストドンの様子は本当にこちらでは見えないことと思います。

なんかこう、ビジネスとして成功しなければならない、という仕組みではないので、流行っていないといえばそうかもしれませんが、

こちらからは見えないところで既に定着していて、毎日楽しく利用している大勢の人達がいて、新しい技術や連携する仕組みが生まれて、日々発展している感じです。

マストドンは、どこかに消えてしまったのではなく、今もしっかり生きていて、定着しています。

TwitterにはTwitterの良さが、マストドンにはマストドンの良さがあり、用途に応じて使い分けるべきものです。両方使っている人もいます。

マストドン、興味のある人は今からでも試してみるといいですよ。

HostdonのMastodonアップデート、今週末ごろになりそうです。

遅ればせながら、のえろまをPleroma v1.1.9にアップデートしましたよ。

Did you know #QOTO has one of the highest user retention rate of any server in the fediverse?

We do not and have never deleted inactive accounts. Despite this ~25% of our registered users are still active after over 2 years of operation. Compare this to most other servers and we see typically a retention of ~10% or less.

To me this is the most important statistic to measure the health and success of a server, ultimately it tells me the people who come to qoto ultimately enjoy it here and want to stay!
