@waifu @hakui@tuusin.misono-ya.info @mimorinka@fedibird.com it sounded well in spanish coupled with novoa, and it is a rare domain, and it was kinda cheap so I got it.

It also influenced in my decision that I am running misskey which is almost completely japanese software, and kinda wanted to give back to it with the name of my instance.

Novoa does intend to mean new, like new place, new site, new perspective, new home, a new window to the internet from people that come from walled gardens, so in that sense when I was deciding for the name I was also thinking of (pic related)

Funny anectode soon after I created the instance I got like 30 japanese users.
