Without some primal hunger/need there's no motivation. What would you be motivated for (literally "what makes you move") if all your needs are met and discomforts neutralized by 3rd parties from infancy?

If you're not starving yet, just chillax.

You can only be motivated by internal obsession ("autism"/fetishes) or things you were denied of by others, until you encounter circumstances where you do have unmet fundamentals.

Initiation rituals of wilderness survival would greatly help, but there's too many people in developed states for that to be an option.

I don't know what the answer is, another great dilemma of our age...
