I’ve been playing around with these colors for a couple weeks. Finally the weather cooperated and the natural lighting was just right. Here is my latest colorway Chromapop on oh-so-soft Polwarth wool. I just listed it in my shop if you want some for the hand spinner in your life.

#FanPrompt 12/15 Bedroom, Monster High
Clawdeen clenched her fists so tightly that she could feel her claws digging into her palms. Yes, she shared a bedroom with Howleen and yes, technically they shared a closet but...
That did not mean Howleen could constantly help herself! And that was before the mess. Actually, it was mostly the mess...
Clawdeen had everything fixed by the time Howleen returned, wearing...
Oh, she looked really good in that shirt, and Clawdeen had never considered it with that skirt or that scarf and...
She couldn't even be mad.
Maintenance on his machine was done and everything was quiet, which meant that Deadline had a bit of free time.
The last time he'd had a decent amount of free time, he'd organized his yarn stash and dug around with his half-finished projects. He'd found three halves of scarfs and a lone mitten and quite a few blanket squares...
He wasn't going to work on any of those. Instead he was going to see about a hat, because he didn't have a hat on the go.
Space was a little chilly sometimes, anyway.
Deadline smiled. It was going to be green.
'After Hours', a short original piece of m/m sci-fi written for the Fic or Treat fest. Mentions of injury, non-explicit.
On Neocities and Dreamwidth:
I was just reminded of the time a librarian acquaintance excitedly shelved my books for me after I'd moved.
I had kind of packed things by subject, which I'd mentioned, but I mostly kept out of the way because 1) librarian acquaintance and 2) had a lot of other stuff to unpack.
Friends, librarian acquaintance shelved everything by size.
(MastoPrompt, 12/13 Luck)
Kojo snapped upright at midnight, blinking several times before realizing where he was.
"Hello again," the knight sitting beside him said as she let her gaze fall from him back to her sword.
"I don't have any luck," Kojo rasped. This was at least the third time he'd revived in the same spot. "It's all fuzzy. What went wrong this time?"
"Turns out there are two dragons," the knight said. Her sword shined in the lantern-light. Kojo winced.
"How long was I dead?"
"Two days."
"When do we leave?" Kojo asked.
"...two days."
(WSS 12/13 Haircut)
"Normal Haircut or Important Haircut?" Trina asked as the young woman sat down in the chair.
She knew the look in the young woman's eyes; but she needed confirmation anyway.
There was a long pause and then a soft reply-
"Important Haircut," the young woman said. "I need a change. I need a lot of changes. I..."
Trina smiled. "And a change you can see every day is a good start."
"Yes..."
"Then let me know what you're thinking."
Trina got her scissors ready as she listened. She loved doing Important Haircuts.
She loved change.
(Microprompt, 12/13 Shield)
Burne flipped the heavy tavern table up on its side to use as a shield against the sudden and ridiculous brawl that had started.
If Burne had learned anything over the last decade of frequenting the place, it was that it was better to wait out the worst of it instead of getting involved.
Besides, Burne had pulled the cute traveling minstrel down beside him, for safety. It wasn't like he could keep playing, not with fists and mugs flying.
The table did just what it needed to.
And the brawl ended almost a little too soon.
The whole point of "dont keep your eggs in one basket" is to keep in touch with your friends, silly! If you only talk to your friends on discord for example, and you don't have ANY other contact info... What if discord goes down?! If you have any other contact info, whether it's their phone number, another chat client, another website... Then you can keep talking to them :)
sure discord or whatever is the most convenient to use everyday. Keeping multiple baskets doesn't mean to stop using your main one! But it is good to have a backup basket just in case... You never know when something will go down, or be banned in a country haha. 😀 I met a lot of friends on deviantart or tumblr or twitter... And when those got poopy i made sure to keep in contact with people I care about. I think I have alternative contact info for most pals on fedi too 😊
grateful for everyone who has their own site AND email. I am a boomer who loooooves the slowness of email vs the sharp pain of a discord/chat notification.
#FanPrompt (12/13 Clash, Romancing SaGa 2)
Wagnas heard a clash of swords and knew immediately what he'd be walking into.
He didn't make his presence known right away; instead he watched Rocbouquet sparring with Noel and putting her all into it.
They were both amazing, and they both smiled when they saw him quietly standing there. Rocbouquet even seemed momentarily distracted, but she blocked Noel at the last moment and smiled wider.
In the end, Noel triumphed, as usual.
Though... Afterward, Wagnas thought that perhaps he was the one who'd won.
