When I was putting together my "Forgotten Greek and Roman Myths" manuscript, I was constantly told that it is not a sellable concept for a book - because "people want to read their favorite myths", and not unkown ones.

Now the reviews are trickling in, and every reviewer highlights how exciting it is to find unknown myths about the well-known gods and heroes.

🤷‍♀️

(Still looking for an English language publisher, btw.)

BlueSky has just been partially bought by a cryptocurrency company "Blockchain Capital" and appointed a blockchain / cryptocurrency expert to their board:

Their new board member is a bitcoin researcher who promotes NFTs.

BlueSky describe the tie-up with Blockchain Capital as a "natural partnership" and says that the blockchain company has "a uniquely deep understanding of our decentralized foundation".

American cemeteries are a paradox: Calm and comforting, but also disquieting, even spooky places. Their value is similarly mixed for wildlife. In some cities, they are the largest green spaces, and refuges for both common and endangered species. But the way we've buried our dead for the last century makes them a source of potentially dangerous pollution too.

Behold the most difficult bird in the world to photograph. A Ruby-crowned Kinglet. They are thumb-sized, hide away in the bushes, and only stay in one place for a fraction of a second. You can tell by this one's expression that he is a little sht.
