I don't know about you, friends, but I suspect that the point at which we started to go wrong as a society was the point at which we stopped putting an option for "Mega Bass" on our devices.
@kalloway I think it was. I've been using old Sony walkmans for... a long, long time, and this has been a feature of all them. It's such a dumb '90s feature, but I kind of love it?

I only bought this radio a couple of years ago, and it definitely still has the button. (It doesn't make the local radio I listen to for weather/news sound much different, alas?)
@kalloway I LOVE THE IDEA OF MEGA BASS-ING THE NEWS. If only to activated some kind of grotesque dubstep beat drop and the newscasters whent all deep and hyperbolic.
