I think I've done a good job at that. The goal was never to grow as big as we have, just to exist an option for people who needed it. We're not the sole place where LGBTQ+ people can sign up and be safe, and we shouldn't be. Mastodon is decentralised after all.
It doesn't matter to me if we have 75 users or 75,000, the purpose has never changed. I still run the site for the same reason even if many people are just looking for a Twitter replacement (which this was never intended to be).
