Japan's competition regulator yesterday "named and shamed" 13 companies, including Sagawa and Denso, that blocked discussions of price increases from suppliers multiple times, preventing those suppliers being able to cover costs and increase wages. The conduct in question is not actually illegal but is considered harmful to competition & allows public naming where such conduct is frequent and systematic.

I’m sure you’d find the same thing of developers who blindly cut & paste from Stack Overflow.

The root issue is the same, people who don’t understand the code they got from someone else write less secure code. Doesn’t matter if it was an AI or Stack Overflow poster.
