The #animation is made in #Moho Pro 12 and stop frames captured using the free #qStopMotion.
The robot frames where then converted into a multilayer photoshop file with transparent background.
In Moho that becomes a character you move around and select which layer is displayed on the animation timeline.
So the stopmotion frames can be used in any order. And rotated, resized and moved around. Allows reusing a small amount of captured animation.
Working on a "ROCK Opera" in this style ☺
Few things get me more bullish on Crypto than Cramer telling people to get out.
i think that the thing that made twitter "great" was the vitriol. the algorithm-driven engagement.
that's not what you're going to get here.
you need to seek out content and curate it. you need to boost because if you don't, nobody else is going to. there is no algorithm. the favorite button does nothing to improve visibility of a toot.
and if you get into fights and get blocked, or engage in wide-spread blocking as was common on twitter, you will have fewer people to boost your content. you will be less a member of the community.
so if you can grock all of that. if you understand that this platform is much more about netiquette, you can probably find a reasonable semblance of the information benefits of twitter.
and if not, i don't expect you to stick around.
either way, you're not gonna kill mastodon. it's an interface to a network protocol. we'll just route around the damage.
I keep hearing that #Mastodon is not likely to replace #Twitter. To that I say: so what?
I've been contributing to the #Linux desktop for the last 15 years not because it's likely to replace #Windows, but because providing people with free desktop is the right thing to do.
I use and support Mastodon not because it's likely to replace Twitter, but because it's a social network done right.
Video on the FTX story.
Good video on coffee.
Mastadon is already running circles around the bird app. And that is while they are struggling with the user surge and Elon has only started running the bird into the ground.
It just occurred to me that across the 4,000 #Mastodon servers each with their #MastoAdmin plus their moderator teams... we have more content moderators tracking reports and complaints than Twitter does.
For the folks who keep asking about how we're going to scale, we're on it.
Bold of Musk to destroy Twitter just so that Jack can re-acquire the embers and ashes that remain for under 42 million dollars and rebrand it BlueSky
A particularly catastrophic day at Twitter. The people reassuring advertisers yesterday that everything was fine quit, along with the heads of trust and safety, ad sales and most importantly the three people who were responsible for filing a document to the FTC detailing their protections in place for user data. Those three were the heads of information security, compliance and privacy. When they leave like that you know it’s bad. Law-breaking, privacy violating, insecure bad.
hey guys from Twitter.
we are glad to see you here but please understand that the fact that fediverse is anti-viral, anti-hierarchy and anti-capitalist is the point of it
please also understand that CWs, alt text and other stuff here is not there to "silence you" — it is to allow users greater agency over their feeds for their mental benefit, and to support disabled people.
this network was built by marginalized people. who disliked Twitter for the same reasons you do.
don't bring it back.
If #Bitcoin drops due to a cascade of margin calls that would be a nice buying opportunity.
Very interesting time for #crypto . One of the silver linings here is that Japan's regulator has done a good job protecting customer assets on exchange.
Well, I’m slowly getting a little more confident and paddling out deeper into the Mastosphere. Trousers now rolled up to the knees and the water not feeling as cold…

Will follow anyone posting anything remotely interesting. Will unfollow after a couple of irrelevant toots.
