Do you know what they mean by that last bit? It sounds like some kind of converter between piano and buttons, or maybe it just has both, but I don't remember seeing one like that.

If I had to reach for examples to back up their wording, a very rare bass-only #accordion type with piano keys just plays bass notes

So a normal piano accordion with stradella bass buttons would fulfill their vision?

Or the old “finto piano” (false piano) ones Frosini, Alice Hall & Leon played 🪗🤔

But they were chromatic button machines disguised as half piano accordions

And nobody plays those any more
