Have been seeing a tonne of shiny green beetles in the 10,000ft elevations of Bhutan. Similar green, but not quite the same as the one in your pic. No antlers.
Wow ✨thank you so much!
They are shiny type drone beetles!
Thank you for sharing very beautiful photos!!🪲🪲✨🙏
A couple weeks ago, I took a sky pic and thought the black speck in the sky was a bird. I zoomed in and saw it was a Junebug in the foreground, above the pool.
@DemocracySpot
Wow thanks!!!
It is Amazing to capture them in flight!😃🙏✨🪲✨
I got some pics of the Junebugs in the pool, backstroking, and one of a female with her wee young, if that's what it was.
The one I caught in-flight was pure accident.
@mikako6 i love their cute antennae!
@jakalopes
Thanks! ✨🪲
@mikako6 Amazing adorable little buggie!
Thank you!
They are really adorable friends that I can only see in summer in Japan where I am. 🪲❣️
@mikako6 @nev Aww! I remember the June bugs (aka late July bugs for me!) at home in SW Oregon (members of the scarab family too)…near dusk, it was almost like little firecrackers erupting directly upwards from the sun-baked meadow, gaining height with a noisy whirring, before I'd lose sight of each in the air. I imagined there'd be some exciting place up in the sky, where all these beetles were meeting up 🪲💚🪲
