Finally! Finally Larry's prayers had been answered!
He hadn't actually expected the angel to have knocked at his door or to not have some sort of visible sword or spear or something, but that wasn't entirely important at the moment.
Before the angel could speak, Larry ran to get the list of those who'd wrongest him so he could recite names and crimes without pause.
But the angel shook its head.
"You misunderstand," it said, its voice echoing in Larry's head.
"I'm a scavenging angel."
Larry stared.
"Might you have any tin or string?"
