I'm not opposed to algorithms per se; it's just that the one at Twitter was turning itself into "Animal Farm." I'm sorry but that's just the truth of the experience I had over there.

At the same time I think many people are aware of the dangers of #mastodon too, I think that's why most administrators have strict polices regarding hate speech etc. (Something Twitter algorithm is failing to do for me currently😔 )
