今週のFediverse Reportで、Misskey開発者のしゅいろさんが連合に言及した6日の投稿がクローズアップされてる。
記事では、しゅいろさんの投稿はActivityPubの設計上の欠点の1つを示していることが指摘されてる。一方で、Fediverseソフトウェアは基本的な機能の実装やサポートについて、かなりの自由があることも指摘されてる（例：ハッシュタグやそのバリエーションのサポート状況）。
「より多くのFediverseソフトウェアが、他のソフトウェアと連携するのに必要と思われるものを公開し始めると、Fediverse全体にとって健全になるのでは」と、記事では提案されてる。たとえば「絵文字リアクションも表示するソフトウェアとのみ連携したい」という風に、最低限の機能要件を述べるなど。
