Before I gave up on therapy, the story my therapist told was about 'neurotypicals' opressing 'neurodivergents'. It was a strange narrative that linked the civil rights movement to the emancipation of the mentally unwell. Apparently this is the prevailing theory that is taught to therapists who specialize in antisocial retards.

If retards who can't take a hint are being told that they're good, better even and everyone else is bad for oppressing them is it any wonder they end up as smug, aloof and with a superiority complex?
