I’ve been a Trump supporter since summer 2015, but had to keep my support quiet while I worked in Hollywood as an entertainment lawyer
After he won in 2016, I couldn’t stay quiet anymore so I started posting memes anonymously on Instagram as “DC_Draino”
I started like everyone else - with zero followers and a lot of passion
Fast forward some years and now I have millions of followers and am living my true purpose - working to save America from tyranny

When a tiny number of users get an outsized amount of attention, and therefore have a high degree of influence on the discussion topics of the day, that's not a healthy network.
On Fedi, everybody's a nobody... and I mean that as an absolute positive. There are no blue ticks, no divide between 'famous' and 'everyone else’. Numbers may vary, but we're all peers, all the way up to Eugen. All discussion is between equals, and that makes this place unique.

My "pure Debian" fediverse server now effortlessly upgraded by apt update && apt upgrade.
Thanks as usual to @jvalleroy@fosstodon.org and @sergiodj@snac.sergiodj.net for the Debian package and @grunfink@comam.es for continuing to develop and improve Snac2
Now that #freedombox has #Nextcloud and access to #snac2 in the repos, it makes that project look all the more enticing as a one stop self hosting solution.
