A profusion of pink-petaled peach posies (Prunus persica).

These seem to be doing well this year, so far. They've been buzzing with honeybees and carpenter bees. In a good year the trees make tons of golf-ball-sized fruit that's good for making jam. We transplanted a young tree to some friends' house years ago, and they've used its fruit to make peach brandy!

These are wild trees, not planted by us but probably brought here as seeds by deer, who love to eat the fruit.
