The vista on the shores of Loch Shiel at Glenfinnan in the Western Scottish Highlands. The loch gives its name to Loch Shiel National Scenic Area (NSA), defined as an area of exceptional scenery where any development is strictly regulated.
The Loch Shiel NSA extends to the summits of the hills on either side of the loch, as well as the hills surrounding Glen Hurich and the monument just behind where I took this photograph at Glenfinnan.

First time doing The Whole Enchilada! 33 mi from Geyser Pass at 10,600 ft, through Burrito Pass at 11,200 ft, and down to Moab at 4,000 ft. Awesome to go through a bunch of different biomes. Took about 10 hours due to mechanical issues and heat. #mtb

今日の散歩: 山科・大乗寺
午前中だったこともあって、咲いてる花は白くて、しぼんだ花だけがピンク。もうちょっと行く時間帯考えたら良かったかも。

酔芙蓉が有名とのことで大乗寺に行ってみた。
GoogleMapに任せるとすっごいきつい坂の裏道から裏参道に誘われるんだけど、控えめにみても大石街道から行った方が近いし楽なの、なんなんだろ?
