私がMastodonの利用を始めたのは2017年4月からになります（もちろんmstdn.jpです）が、それ以来、様々な活動を通じてFediverseとの関わりを深めてきました。

大きなところで、DTP-Mstdn.jpの提供、ハッシュタグリレーの提供、Mastodon本家への開発参加、PleromaやMisskey、Prismoの実験サーバ運用などでしょうか。

昨年は #fedibird という汎用サーバの提供を開始し、これまでとは異なるあり方を提示することでFediverseの可能性を少しばかり提案できたかなと思います。

今年はこれをさらに推し進め、Fedibirdでの実証を行いつつ、相互運用改善や、組み合わせて機能する応用技術の提案などを行っていきたいと思っています。

#fedibird 最近のmasterの不具合で、アバター画像（アイコン）やヘッダー画像を変更した際に、変更しなかった方の画像がリンク切れになって表示されなくなる不具合が発生していましたが、先程解消されました。

既におかしくなっている人は、先方がもう一度変更をかけたタイミングか、こちらで手動でrefreshするまで直らないと思いますので、気がついたら教えてください。

元々、base64でエンコードされたファイルが正しく処理されない不具合が2017年4月からずっと存在していて(!)それを修正したのですが、その際に今回の問題が発生したという流れです。

問題が発生したのは11日前のこのプルリクエストからで、

#Windows Just before the support expiration date, my Windows7 (Acer Aspire 1410) was turned into Windows10HOME and rescued using the above method! Many Thanks! @design_RG

(By the way, as usual, Grub for dual booting with Ubuntu was broken and rescueed.)

アバターが表示されなくなる問題、master（Mastodonの開発中の最新版）で起きている現象で、根治するまでなかなか直らないかと思いますが、表示されなくなっている人の修復は可能なので、おかしくなっている人のアカウント名がわかる場合はお知らせ頂ければ対応します。

によって、古い情報が破棄されて再取得(fetch)されます。必ずとは断言できませんが、これで基本的になおります。

モデレーション画面の『プロフィールを更新』では直らないので注意。

#Mastodon

Since I created Moa I’ve struggled with the idea of supporting absentee fediverse users. I’m considering changing things so that you’ve got to post to your masto account every so often to keep the account active. Maybe track last toot and tweet dates and if they get too far apart then disable. This would prevent punishing legit infrequent posters.

A good page of the Mastodon Documentation explains how to set up Filters to get rid of unwanted contents.
