Though I suppose Clark’s Corollary does too… "any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice".
Apparently Twitter just gutted it’s sales & account management teams. You know, the teams that pull in & manage almost of their revenue via ads. Genius.
I ran some number for the subscription service…
To *simply just pay off the interest on their debt* Twitter needs 14.5 million subscribers to Blue.
To make up their ad revenue they need 53.1 million.
So, in total, they need 67.6 million subscribers. Basically, to be as popular a paid service as YouTube, who is 10x larger.
