Here's the latest variant picture for the EG.5.* variant, recently added by the WHO to their "Variants Under Monitoring" list.
The leading countries across Asia reporting EG.5.* are China (24%), Hong Kong (28%) and Japan (24%).
The odd-looking spike for Singapore is the product of a gap in their sequencing data, and should be ignored.
